Position Summary:

The Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Southside Care facility. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, overseeing resident care, and maintaining the facility's financial stability.


Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure financial stability.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, develop, and evaluate staff. Foster a positive work environment and address personnel issues.
  • Resident Care: Oversee the quality of resident care, ensure resident safety and satisfaction, and address resident and family concerns.
  • Facility Operations: Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
  • Community Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid Nursing Home Administrator license. (MN NHA License)
  • Current nursing license (Valid registration as an RN with the Minnesota Board of Nursing)
  • Significant experience in healthcare management, preferably in a long-term care setting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and financial management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
