ROLE SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for conducting inventory counts, maintain necessary inventory levels, receiving freight, assembling orders, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Complete entire inventory by doing daily count cycles.
Audit inventory counts on a daily basis.
Enter all received product from our suppliers into RAS.
Verify picked pallets for mis-picks by spot checking and through the WMS.
Prepare full pallet sheets for tuck loaders.
Check in Delivery Technician’s breakage, mis-picks and trades as necessary.
Move packaged product by hand from racks, shelves, bins or floor onto pick pallet paying special attention to accuracy, leveling and tie ins.
Safely operate common warehouse equipment including powered hand trucks, pallet riders and sit-down fork trucks.
All other duties as assigned.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Self-motivated and results oriented.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects
Ability to lift, load, unload, and move product that weighs up 60 lbs constantly and up to 165 lbs occasionally.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to work flexible hours that may include some nights and weekend shifts.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
