OPTA HOME Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team. This position can be either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's availability and preferences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home healthcare nursing, with demonstrated success in clinical leadership, team management, and regulatory compliance.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

Provide clinical oversight and guidance to the home healthcare nursing team, ensuring the highest quality patient care and adherence to best practices.

Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, aligning with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, review, and update patient care plans, ensuring individualized and effective care.

Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and professional development opportunities.

Coordinate and supervise the onboarding, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.

Monitor compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with referral sources, community partners, and other healthcare providers to promote the organization's home healthcare services.

Participate in quality assurance activities, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective action plans as needed.
Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Current RN license in good standing for Colorado.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in home healthcare nursing, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role is preferred but specifically required.

Thorough understanding of state and federal regulations governing home healthcare services.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours, depending on the needs of the organization and the candidate's availability.
