This opportunity is for experienced pharmacists ready to contribute to a collaborative healthcare setting on the California Central Coast. The contract position offers a chance to work in a dynamic hospital environment, supporting patient care with a focus on clinical pharmacy services.
Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, collaborating with physicians and nurses, and managing pharmacokinetics interventions. The role requires proficient use of Cerner and Omnicell systems, providing comprehensive inpatient pharmacy care.
Schedule options are available to fit different preferences:
- Days: Four 10-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Nights: A 7-on, 7-off schedule covering 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current California pharmacist license
- At least one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary consultation
- Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred
Location: This position is based near San Luis Obispo, CA, providing access to a beautiful coastal region with vibrant community life.
This contract role is for an initial duration of 13 weeks or longer, with an immediate start to meet staffing needs. Candidates should specify their availability for day or night shifts when applying.
