Billing Specialist

The role of a Billing Specialist is immensely critical in providing vital support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. This specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all billing processes are meticulously managed, requiring a high level of attention to detail, trustworthiness, and organizational skills.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls
- Reply to any emails, texts, and voicemails daily, within 24 hours.
- Approve shifts
- Contact DSP's about inaccurate or questionable times entered
- Help DSP's correct shifts
- Send billing to eXPRS (eXPRS Experience Preferred)
- Contact Case Workers about incorrect or missing contracts, suspended times or any other issues in eXPRS.
- Once finalized, invoice time and submit Progress Reports to caseworkers.
Qualifications:

- Proficient with Google and Windows platforms (including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Excel, and Word)
- Experience with eXPRS
- Must have integrity and an eagerness to grow
- Knowledge of the I/DD community
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is preferred but not required
- Attention to detail & good problem-solving skills
- Be cleared through a federal background check
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma/GED

Compensation and Schedule:
- Hourly Rate: $28.00+
- Monday-Friday (8am-4:30pm Flexible)
