Salary Range: $113,000 – $149,000 annually

Schedule: Full Time, Day Shift

Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients’ functional abilities and developing individualized treatment plans designed to maximize independence in activities of daily living (ADLs). This position provides therapy services across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation environments while collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations.

Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.

Utilize therapeutic modalities, exercises, and adaptive equipment to improve functional performance.

Assist patients in enhancing self-care, mobility, cognitive, and daily living skills.

Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members.

Educate patients and families on therapy goals, home exercise programs, and adaptive strategies.
Education & Licensure Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.

Active California Occupational Therapist license required.

Less than one year of experience required; clinical experience preferred.
Professional Skills & Competencies
-
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles and functional assessment techniques.

Excellent communication and patient education skills.

Ability to treat both inpatient and outpatient populations effectively.

Proficiency in therapeutic equipment and assistive devices.
