Salary: $27.52/hour - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)
Responsible To: Sergeant
Summary: Ensure safety, security and the preservation of life and property by maintaining law and order, enforcing laws, and ordinances. Solve community problems by fostering open continuous communication and cooperation between the community and law enforcement.

- Must betwenty-one (21) years of age or older.
- Sixty (60) college level credits.
- Must successfully pass the following prior to employment:
a. Physical agility test
b. Physical examination
c. Written test
d. Psychological examination

- Must provide a copy of diploma, license, degree or certification upon employment.
- Background information disclosure (BID) form.
