Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
School Psychologist Openings West Chicago, IL
Details:
- Start Date: August 21, 2025
- End Date: June 4, 2026
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM 3:30 PM
- Onsite only
- Levels: Early Childhood and Elementary
- Candidate Preference spoke about on interview
Caseload and Responsibilities:
- Psychologists do not carry traditional caseloads
- Estimated 25 evaluations completed per year
- Lead MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings
- Manage and analyze school data
- Ensure special education compliance and support the evaluation process
Requirements:
- Valid Illinois PEL (Professional Educator License) with School Psychologist Endorsement
- Strong understanding of federal and state special education compliance regulations
- Experience working with English Learner (EL) populations
- Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
