Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker for a day shift position, working from 7 AM to 7 PM on a 3-on, 3-off schedule. This full-time role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Charge and clean the furnace using various tools.
- Drain, transfer, or remove molten metal from furnaces and place it into molds.
- Skim or remove excess metal from equipment using forklifts and regulate the flow of molten metal into molds and forms using ladles or hand-controlled mechanisms.
- Record production data and maintain production logs.
- Operate controls to move or discharge metal workpieces from furnaces.
- Weigh materials to be charged into furnaces using scales.
- Regulate supplies of fuel and air to heat furnaces and adjust temperatures.
- Inspect furnaces and equipment to locate defects and wear.
- Operate mobile equipment including forklifts, sweepers, and bobcats.
- Sweep and clean work areas.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
- Experience in production environments.
- Proficiency in operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, sweepers, and bobcats.
- Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with furnace operations is a plus.
- Attention to detail for recording production data and maintaining logs.

Work Environment
The work environment is a production facility operating during night hours from 7 PM to 7 AM on a 3-on, 3-off schedule. The facility includes the use of forklifts, sweepers, and bobcats, and requires adherence to safety protocols.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clarksville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
