Sr Water/Wastewater Project Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to lead and manage water and wastewater projects from conception to completion. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage water and wastewater engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to define project scope and objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and reporting.
- Conduct technical reviews of project designs and deliverables to ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior engineers and project team members.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance project success and future opportunities.
- Stay updated with industry trends and innovations to implement best practices in project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in water/wastewater project engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in stormwater management is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and coaching team members.
