Position Type: Seasonal (Temporary role based on business needs)
Note: This is a seasonal position intended to support increased operational demand. While not guaranteed, strong performance may lead to future opportunities. Ideal for candidates seeking short-term work or supplemental income, perfect for students, second-job seekers, or those looking to gain experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mark materials and products with identification per customer and internal requirements
- Verify box labels and skid tags
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and quality
- Unload and sort inventory, ensuring proper placement in stockrooms or shelves
- Replenish merchandise on the sales floor or warehouse bins to maintain stock levels
- Rotate inventory to ensure freshness and reduce waste or obsolescence
- Use inventory systems (e.g., handheld scanners or ERP software) to track stock movement
- Assist with inventory counts, audits, and discrepancy resolution
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas, complying with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to support layout changes, promotions, and seasonal resets
- Provide customer support, helping locate products or answer inventory-related questions
- May operate a sit-down forklift and (or) stand-up reach truck
- Load and unloading of Freight
- Help with freight receiving
- Must be able to Pass: E-Verify, Drug Test and Background Check
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift or pallet jack certification may be required for warehouse roles
- Prior experience in retail, logistics, or warehouse operations is a plus
- Attention to detail for verifying shipments and maintaining accurate records
- Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and moving inventory
- Basic computer proficiency, especially with inventory tracking tools
- Teamwork and communication to coordinate with coworkers and supervisors
- Problem-solving mindset to handle stock discrepancies or delivery issues
