Assistant Production Manager

About the Role
CV Resources is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Caldwell area to hire an Assistant Production Manager. This role will support day-to-day production operations, drive efficiency, and help lead teams to meet production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Production Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations
- Lead, coach, and develop production staff to meet performance and safety goals
- Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of products
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Track key performance metrics (KPIs) and report on production output
- Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Assist with staffing, training, and workforce planning
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production leadership
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, safety, and quality standards
- Experience with process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma a plus)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP experience preferred
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field
- Experience in a high-volume or industrial manufacturing environment
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000 base salary
- Bonus potential up to 100% of base salary
