Ventus Executive Solutions is seeking a skilled Advanced Submarine Development Advisor to support the development of future undersea and submarine capabilities. In this role, you will provide direct technical support to the development of advanced submarine capabilities and contribute to operational concept development, platform requirements definition, and test and evaluation planning. You will work with a team conducting analysis and tradeoffs for a variety of advanced capabilities during the pre-design and preliminary design phases of SSN(X). You will collaborate closely with government organizations and engage with senior personnel across government, industry, research and development, and user communities.

Travel: Less than 10%
Clearance: Secret required, TS/SCI preferred
Pre-Requisites: Former post-command U.S. Navy Submarine Officer
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience supporting submarine or undersea warfare capabilities.
- Experience developing operational concepts, platform requirements, or test and evaluation plans.
- Strong understanding of submarine operations and undersea capability development.
- Ability to collaborate with organizations such as OPNAV, NUWC, and NAVSEA.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Detail-oriented self-starter capable of working in a collaborative technical environment.
Desired Experience:
- Experience supporting a resource sponsor, NAVSEA, or other undersea development organizations.
- Acquisition Corps experience.
- Experience with VIRGINIA Class submarine new construction or operational deployments.
- Experience supporting early design, analysis, or trade studies for advanced naval platforms.
Salary: The expected salary range for this position is $135,00–$173,000. This range represents a good-faith estimate and is not a guarantee; final compensation is determined by factors such as experience, qualifications, and government contract labor rate requirements and may fall outside the stated range. In addition to base pay, Ventus offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), ESOP participation, retirement plans, and generous paid time off.
