This is a rare opportunity to step into a well-established patient base within a practice known for its clinical excellence and deep community roots.

Our approach emphasizes personalized care, long-term patient relationships, and clinical quality over volume. Patients trust us, stay with us, and refer others—because of the experience we provide.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Optometrist who values relationship-driven care, clinical autonomy, and a supportive team environment.

You will have the opportunity to build meaningful patient relationships while practicing with modern technology and a strong support staff that handles pre-testing and administrative responsibilities—allowing you to focus on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Care

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams including refraction, binocular vision, and ocular health assessments
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular diseases within scope of practice
  • Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed
  • Co-manage surgical and specialty care (LASIK, cataracts, glaucoma) as appropriate
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care

Patient Experience

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with patients
  • Deliver a personalized, attentive care experience
  • Ensure continuity of care through follow-ups and communication
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation

Practice Growth & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with staff to support efficient clinic flow
  • Provide guidance and support to technicians
  • Participate in community outreach and patient growth initiatives
  • Build relationships with referral partners and local providers

Professional Development

  • Maintain active licensure and continuing education
  • Contribute to practice growth and process improvement

What We’re Looking For:

  • Active state optometry license
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
  • Desire to practice in a private, patient-focused setting
  • Team-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality care

What Sets This Role Apart:

  • Established patient base with immediate volume
  • Private practice setting with clinical autonomy
  • Focus on quality care over high volume
  • Modern technology and full clinical support staff, allowing you to focus on patient care—not administrative tasks
