Job Title: Press Brake Operator
1st shift - $28-$34/HR
Job Description
As a Press Brake Operator, you will set up and operate Press Brakes, specifically Accupress and Cincinnati models. You will work from routings, method layouts, and prints to determine the proper forming sequence of the tooling. In this role, you will select, position, and align tooling in the machine ram and bed, program the controller to set specified pressure of the ram, and adjust the clearance between tools. Additionally, you will comply with ISO Quality Management System requirements and departmental procedures, perform basic quality inspections using micrometers and calipers, and document in-process inspection data.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Accupress and Cincinnati Press Brakes.
- Work from routings, method layouts, and prints to determine forming sequences.
- Select, position, and align tooling in machine ram and bed.
- Program the controller for specified pressure and tool clearance.
- Comply with ISO Quality Management System requirements.
- Perform basic quality inspections using micrometers and calipers.
- Document in-process inspection data.
Essential Skills
- 2+ years of experience setting up and operating press brakes in a job shop environment.
- Experience in short, prototype runs.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints.
- Familiarity with press machines, including Cincinnati and Accupress models.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and punch press brake operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
