The Art Gallery Associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional visitor experience and supporting daily gallery operations. This individual will assist with sales, exhibition installations, client relations, and administrative tasks, ensuring that the gallery runs smoothly and maintains the high standards of Artier Fine Art.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and engage visitors, providing knowledgeable information about artists, exhibitions, and available works.
- Assist clients through the art acquisition process, including sales, invoicing, and delivery coordination.
- Maintain the gallery’s appearance and ensure artwork is displayed to the highest standard.
- Support exhibition setup and takedown, including artwork handling, labeling, and inventory updates.
- Manage inventory records using the gallery’s database and maintain accurate documentation of artworks.
- Coordinate with artists, framers, and shipping partners as needed.
- Contribute to marketing efforts such as social media content, newsletters, and event promotion.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, and data entry.
- Assist during openings, receptions, and special events (evenings and weekends as required).
