Position Overview
The Financial Planning & Analytics Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and decision-making processes of the organization. This position is responsible for analyzing financial data, creating financial models, and providing insights to improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
- Prepare and present financial reports and insights to management and stakeholders.
- Utilize Power BI to create dashboards and visualizations for data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial information.
- Support the annual budgeting process and assist in financial planning activities.
- Extract and manipulate data using SQL for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Work with Oracle EPM to streamline financial reporting and planning processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related role.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and budgeting techniques.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Knowledge of Oracle EPM or similar financial management systems is a plus.
- Understanding of finance principles in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
