Production Associate (Direct Hire)
$19.00 – $21.00 per hour
Full-Time | Manufacturing | Immediate Openings
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Production Associate to support the manufacturing of custom packaging products. This role includes machine operation, assembly, and general production duties in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate production equipment such as die cutters, saws, laminators, and box-making machines
- Assemble products by hand and ensure quality standards are met
- Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and production instructions
- Perform basic troubleshooting and report issues to supervisors
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and organize materials
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks (training available)
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ year of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- Experience with woodworking or similar environments is a plus
- Forklift experience preferred or willingness to be trained
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, ERP systems)
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic math
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Work Environment
- Indoor warehouse/manufacturing setting
- Standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift
- Temperature varies due to dock doors
