Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide specialized speech-language pathology support within a school setting in Houston, TX, focusing exclusively on make-up therapy sessions for students. This contract role offers a structured 37.5-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, with 7.5 hours each day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver make-up speech therapy sessions to students, ensuring continuity in treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress, without involvement in ARDs or evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation related to therapy sessions.
- Comply with all district policies and credentialing requirements, including mandatory fingerprint background checks.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid SLP licensure with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently within designated hours.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in Houston, TX within a school district environment.
- Contract length from ASAP through May 22, 2026.
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
