About the Firm

This industry-leading firm excels in renovating, redeveloping, and renewing commercial and industrial properties across the U.S., with a storied history of transforming blighted warehouses and industrial sites into modern facilities. Known for ground-up and built-to-suit projects, their growing portfolio reflects innovation and excellence. Committed to collaboration, inclusion, and high-impact results, they foster a dynamic, supportive environment where leaders shape the future. If you’re a seasoned project manager ready to drive a landmark project in the vibrant data center sector, join a team that builds not just structures, but legacies.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Project Executive to lead a transformative multi-billion dollar data center project, overseeing all phases from preconstruction to closeout. As General Contractor, Developer, and Owner’s Representative, this firm is driving a mission-critical ground-up build that demands precision, innovation, and leadership. You’ll manage budgets, schedules, teams, and client relationships, ensuring seamless execution of a tech-driven, high-stakes project. Perfect for autonomous PMs with a proven track record on large-scale industrial builds—take ownership of a career-defining data center and make a lasting impact with direct access to decision-makers.

What You'll Do

Project & Construction Management

  • Own end-to-end project delivery, from preconstruction planning through commissioning and closeout.

  • Develop and manage schedules, budgets, scopes, and logistics for the data center build.

  • Interpret and implement owner contract requirements, aligning with design teams, supers, and subs.

  • Lead preconstruction meetings, subcontractor buyout, and scope development.

  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, design documents, punch lists, and building startup processes.

  • Collaborate with field and office teams to drive progress and resolve complex issues.

Financial Oversight

  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and forecasting for the multi-billion dollar project.

  • Review and approve subcontractor and owner pay applications; manage cost-to-complete updates.

  • Develop and track Owner Change Orders (OCOs) and Subcontractor Change Orders (SCOs).

  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and change management in construction management software.

Client & Team Relationships

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, developers, and stakeholders, leading weekly updates and on-site meetings.

  • Build long-term partnerships with clients, subs, and project teams.

  • Mentor Assistant PMs, Project Engineers, and field staff, fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture.

Operational Excellence

  • Champion safety, quality, and scheduling across all project phases, ensuring compliance with codes, permits, and insurance.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, including supply chain, tech integration, and environmental challenges.

  • Maintain detailed documentation in systems like Procore or CMiC, ensuring transparency and accuracy.

  • Oversee data center-specific elements like MEP systems, raised flooring, and sustainability features.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field—or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years managing large-scale industrial/commercial projects ($100M+), with data center or mission-critical facility experience preferred.

  • Strong expertise in construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

  • Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving for complex, tech-heavy builds.

  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset; experience mentoring diverse teams.

  • Proficient in project management software (Procore, CMiC, Bluebeam, MS Project) and data center standards (e.g., Uptime Institute tiers).

Benefits

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation: Top-tier salary, performance-based bonuses, and project incentives aligned with national markets.

  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision; wellness stipends.

  • Financial Security: 401(k) matching; potential profit-sharing in a growth-driven firm.

  • Time Off: Generous PTO, holidays, and flexibility for project demands.

  • Growth & Culture: Mentorship, professional development, and leadership opportunities in an inclusive, innovative environment.
