Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. This contract position offers a choice of 3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts, working overnight hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience on a Medical-Surgical unit
- Recent Epic electronic health record experience within the last 6 months preferred
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Comfortable managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- Skilled in caring for patients in a unit of approximately 10 beds
- Open to candidates outside the local 50-mile radius as local applicants will not be considered
Primary responsibilities will involve comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care aligned with hospital policies and procedures. This role demands strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts, ensuring safety and comfort for all patients.
