Craft HR Solutions is searching for teammates to join our outstanding consulting team! We provide fractional and project-based HR support to clients across various industries and are seeking to add full-time or part-time Associate Consultants or Client Success Specialists. We offer a flexible work schedule with a blend of working from home, on-site at client locations, and from our downtown Asheville office.

About the Role:

  • The ideal Consultant is a focused, business-savvy individual who is passionate about unlocking organizational potential and driving business results through strategic HR.
  • Candidates must be self-motivated and reliable, demonstrate ethical judgment and close attention to detail, ensure confidentiality, work efficiently and accurately, acknowledge and take ownership of mistakes when they are made (so we can learn), be fun and lighthearted while knowing when to buckle down and deliver quality to clients on time, and have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Our new teammates should have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to be flexible and reprioritize tasks as needed in a fast-paced environment. Enthusiasm, positivity, and the ability to find solutions despite obstacles are also important to success.
  • Interest in growing in training development and facilitation skills is a plus but not required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver strategic and day-to-day HR support and services to assigned clients using Craft HR methodologies and tools for meeting client needs.
  • Work may include organizational development, recruitment, policy development, payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, coaching and training, and employee relations.
  • Work on assigned projects in a team and/or independently.
  • Proactively communicate with the Craft HR team and clients.
  • Deliver regular updates and reports to clients on project deliverables and work activities.
  • Accurately track client project hours.
  • Learn and contribute to developing Craft HR methodologies and tools to solve client challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement at both Craft HR and with clients.
  • Participate in developing standard templates and forms informed by client and project experience.
  • Conduct research and stay current with best practices in HR and related fields.
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed, including administrative tasks (e.g., meeting scheduling) and additional work based on your skills, strengths, and interests.


Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience in HR (5+ preferred)
Knowledge of Office suite (e.g., Google Workspace, MS Office, or similar)
Familiarity with navigating HRIS/HCM/payroll systems
Knowledge of common terminology and regulations across employment law, recruitment, payroll, benefits, and compliance
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
US Driver's License
Accept a background check to be performed
High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in HR, Business, Finance, Psychology, or similarly related field preferred; advanced degree a plus
HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) or the ability to obtain certification within one year of hire is required
