Job DescriptionOverview:
Ella SA Contracting is seeking a full-time Fuelman/Oiler responsible for delivering fuel, (lubricating and performing preventive maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, oil/air filters and oil samples) for all heavy equipment at the company's job-sites or yard in accordance with prescribed schedules. The Fuelman/Oiler will safely operate a service truck to dispense fuel and lubricants to construction equipment and will be required to assist the mechanic during repairs.

Qualifications:
The primary requirement of this position is to maintain the company's equipment in peak operating condition.

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience servicing of heavy equipment, medium duty trucks and light trucks.

- Class A or Class B driver’s license with an 'X' endorsement (Tank, HazMat).

- Knowledge of basic software applications (Excel, Word, & Outlook) for recordkeeping and communication.

- Comply with and maintain all DOT & DMCSA regulations and recordkeeping requirements.

- Comply with and maintain all TCEQ and EPA regulations and recordkeeping.

- Monitor and maintain appropriate fluid levels in equipment and vehicles.

- Lubricate equipment and vehicles in accordance with prescribed maintenance intervals.

- Ability to change and recover fluids, secure samples of those fluids from equipment and vehicles in accordance with prescribed maintenance intervals.

- Perform visual inspections on machines and report conditions/deficiencies.

- Monitor and maintain inventories of fuel, oil, filters, SOS, etc.

- Possess basic mechanical aptitude to assist mechanic during repairs.

- Ability to properly document completed maintenance work on a proprietary excel spreadsheet.

- Ability to read and understand service manuals.
