Kendal at Oberlin's Dining Services team currently has an opening for a part- time (20 hrs/wk: 5:00p-10:00p) Kitchen Utility/Floor Cleaner. The Utility/Floor Cleaner will perform the jobs of dish washing, cleaning and receiving and floor maintenance. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

To perform the jobs of dish washing, pot and pan washing, cleaning and receiving, checking and storing of deliveries in the Dining Services department.

• Operating dish machines.
• Washing pots and pans.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen counters and floors.
• Sweeping, mopping and special cleaning jobs to ensure the department's sanitation.
• Cleaning and storing of deliveries in the Dining Services department.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Candidates must be able to read, write and understand English;
• Must be dependable with excellent attendance;
• Some experience in food services highly desirable;

• Must be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds. Stands and walks all day.

• Appearance must be clean and neat.
