We are immediately hiring for an entry-level Lab Technician here in the Delaware/North Columbus, Ohio area! This is a long-term career opportunity for someone looking to get there foot in the door in the industry. This role will specifically be working with paint products in the lab.

M-F 10pm-6:30am

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will work in a fast-paced professional paint lab environment and will interact with other technicians and the customer service coordinator.
  • They will blend paint and paint related materials following formulas that meet customer requirements.
  • This requires accurate weighing and organized recordkeeping.
  • The candidate will be required to spray paint over various substrates which involve operating a spray gun.
  • They will also be required to manually mix paint.
  • Additionally, the candidate will be expected to follow all safety procedures while at the facility and wear proper personal protective equipment at all times.
  • Lastly, the candidate must be capable of self-management

Main Job Duties include:

  • Mixing paint
  • Batching paint
  • Formulating paint
  • Analyzing paint samples

Qualifications:

  • Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science, preferred but not required.
  • Fast paced work experience can also be considered

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
