Manufacturing Engineer | Delta Township, MI
Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, procure, and validate tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring manufacturability and seamless transition to production.
- Generate and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, BOMs, and process flows.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for waste reduction, quality improvement, and capacity optimization.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing process development, optimization, or automation.
- Proficiency with CAD software and strong analytical skills for process data.
- Demonstrated experience applying Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and manage manufacturing improvement projects from concept to implementation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or PLC programming
- Proficiency in specific CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks PDM, CATIA, Mastercam) beyond basic design
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM certification
- Experience with ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or MES systems
