About the Role
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing all food items, based on standardized recipes, for the Restaurants, Room Service and Banquets, while maintaining the highest standards to produce an appealing and appetizing product. In this fast paced kitchen environment, clear communication and collaboration with both your back and front of house teammates is essential in making a highly successful product and experience a reality. Knowledge and execution of ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation and safety in the kitchen and work areas while minimizing waste and maximizing cost/production ratio is crucial, as is the understanding and safe accommodation in meeting guest dietary restrictions.
About You
A courteous disposition and working well as part of a team is fundamental, along with a passion for all things culinary. Each plate is an opportunity to showcase your skills and pride in your product, ultimately creating a memorable experience for the guest. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, is required. You must be adapt at juggling multiple tasks while retaining your composure and remaining approachable, all while successfully meeting both the physical and environmental challenges of constant standing along with transitioning from a hot stove to a cold freezer.
