Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school psychologist position is available in Dover, DE, offering an onsite or hybrid contract role within a local school district. This role supports students approximately 20 cases on the psychologist's caseload and requires 37.5 hours per week, starting as soon as possible through June 9th.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services to school-aged children
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per district guidelines
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Knowledge of child development, educational assessments, and counseling techniques
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
