An opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations. This 13-week contract position begins on Monday, March 23, offering a chance to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications for inpatient use according to prescriptions
- Verify and review medication orders for safety and efficacy
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmaceutical care
- Monitor patient responses and adjust medication therapies as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensed pharmacist with inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and hospital formularies
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented, clinical environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience in acute care or inpatient pharmacy settings preferred
