Bolton Veterinary Hospital is a fast-paced, general and emergency practice with over 20 veterinarians on staff and a support team of over 100! We are proudly privately owned, and have been in operation since 1953.

We are currently looking for dedicated and hardworking veterinary technicians with emergency and nursing experience. You will work alongside doctors providing exceptional patient care and enjoy an atmosphere of respect and appreciation.

We have a team of highly skilled and trained Technicians to work with and learn from. The tenure of the staff here says it all. This is a place to challenge yourself and grow your skills to the next level, while working alongside a highly supportive and dedicated staff.

About this job:

  • This is a full time position and will include a weekend day. As we are a 24/7 hospital, working two holidays a year is required for this role (with holiday pay & holiday rates!)
  • $21-$32/hour depending on years of experience, technical skills and abilities, licensure/certification status
  • 5 days, 8 hour shifts
    • AM shifts: 7 AM - 3:30 PM
    • Surgery shifts 8 AM - 4:30 PM
    • PM shifts: 1 PM - 9:30 PM
    • Working at least one PM shift is required

Requirements:

What we are looking for:

  • 3+ years in hospitalized patient care and/or emergency veterinary medicine as a Technician
  • Strong nursing skills & abilities. Extra experience with surgery, ICU and emergency medicine is a big plus.
  • CVT preferred
  • Weekend day (Friday afternoon - Sunday) required
