Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Spring City, PA
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Setting: Veterans' Center
Position Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a respected Veterans' Center in Spring City, PA. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and support to our nation's veterans, helping ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offering consistent first-shift hours and the potential for long-term employment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Provide compassionate care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence
- Help with meal service and feeding assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
- Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR certification preferred
- Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
- Ability to pass all required background screenings and pre-employment requirements
