IMS Buhrke-Olson, an industry leader in precision metal stamping and assembly with manufacturing locations in the US and Mexico, is seeking a Manufacturing Process Technician for its Arlington Heights, IL facility. Seeking self-motivated individuals who are able to work on their own and with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!

Essential Job Functions

• Understand project timeline and be involved in kickoff meetings/design discussion meetings for new projects in Arlington Heights.
• Make service calls to presses/assemblies as needed.
• Assist with monthly and annual welder maintenance.
• Assist Quality department with non-conforming parts and root cause/corrective actions.
• Work with Production, Toolroom and Quality personnel to improve process issues due to customer complaints or internal rejects.
• Work with Plant Manager, Industrial Engineer and Engineering department to support projects on the production floor.

Competencies(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform the job successfully.)

– Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D)

– Must have at least 5 years of experience with resistance welding. Must have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal stamping.

– Must be proficient in all forms of communication, including written and verbal. Spanish speaker a plus.

– Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Experience with Epicor a plus.
