Sunbelt Staffing, in partnership with a leading national home health agency, is seeking a skilled RN for a full-time, contract position in Lancaster, PA. This 13-week contract offers the potential for extension based on outstanding performance, providing job stability and opportunities for professional growth within the dynamic healthcare field.
Job Details:
- Location: Lancaster, PA
- Company: Sunbelt Staffing, on behalf of a Nationwide Home Health Agency
- Position Type: Contract, 13-week term with possibility of extension upon successful completion
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with occasional weekends and on-call
- Productivity: 25-32 per week expected
- Mileage: .48c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected
- Compensation: Competitive salary, mileage reimbursement, medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits after 90 days
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct home health visits to patients homes within territory and surrounding area.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, emotional, and environmental factors influencing their well-being.
- Develop and execute personalized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient, in collaboration with the healthcare team and under physician guidance.
- Administer skilled nursing care, encompassing wound management, medication administration, IV therapy, and patient education on disease management and preventative care measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, assessments, interventions, and outcomes utilizing Oasis and Homecare Homebase software platforms.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration by actively participating in team meetings, sharing insights, and coordinating care transitions to ensure continuity and effectiveness of care delivery.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with patients, families, and caregivers, providing support, education, and advocacy to enhance patient understanding and engagement in their healthcare journey.
Job Requirements:
- Active PennsylvaniaRegistered Nurse (RN) License.
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health nursing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Oasis and Homecare Homebase software.
- Oasis certified strongly preferred.
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Important Note: Due to this being a contract opportunity with no training, one year of recent experience and proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase are required for consideration.
