Location: On-Site |Pittsburgh, PA 15223 (Glenshaw area)
Status: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Schedule: Full-Time, Daylight Shift - Monday–Friday (1 evening shift per week) – no weekends or holidays are required.
Starting Pay: Up to $21.00/hour (Based on experience)
After Hire Earning Potential: Performance-based increases up to $28.00/hour

Purpose of the Position

- Clinical Excellence: Collect specimens in a timely manner according to established procedures; investigate problems and document occurrences appropriately.
- Mentorship & Onboarding: Train, mentor, and orient new employees as assigned to ensure seamless integration into the department.
- Client Advocacy: Communicate effectively with clients, patients, and coworkers; call clients to confirm orders and obtain accurate billing, DX codes, and UPIN information.
- Administrative Oversight: Perform essential clerical duties (filing, faxing, data entry) and process/package specimens according to testing specifications.
TECHNICAL SKILLS & CLINICAL EXPERTISE
We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Core Clinical: Vitals, Rooming Patients, and Medical Charting.
- Diagnostic & Lab: Phlebotomy (Blood Draws), EKGs, and Urinalysis.
- Procedural: Injections, Assisting with Procedures, and Autoclaving/Sterilizing.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Certification (Required): Must hold a current Medical Assistant Certification
- Education: Completion of a nationally recognized or accredited Medical Assistant Training Program.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in a clinical setting.
