Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a regional day school setting in Jackson, NJ. This contract position runs from July 1st through August 12th, with a work schedule from Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM, and closed on July 6th. The role focuses exclusively on serving students enrolled in summer school programs (ESY) across grades PK-12.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to support students developmental and functional needs during the Extended School Year.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement tailored intervention strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards.
- Participate in onsite meetings and coordinate with educators and staff to enhance student outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based practice.
- Experience working with children across early childhood through high school age ranges.
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload within a short-term summer program environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with educators and families.
- Commitment to onsite service delivery throughout the contract term.
