We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to support our veterinarian in providing high-quality medical care to pets. This role requires a strong understanding of animal anatomy, physiology, and critical care, as well as proficiency in various veterinary procedures.

Duties

• Assist veterinarian during examinations and surgical procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each animal.
• Provide dental care and understand dental terminology related to animal health.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care, grooming, and nutrition.
• Monitor animals' vital signs and behavior during treatments.
• Assist with pet grooming tasks when necessary.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the veterinary facility.

Qualifications

• Vet Tech Certification or 3 years experience in a veterinary setting.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy and physiology is essential.
• Experience in veterinary critical care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment used in veterinary practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members.
