Our needs can allow for part-time or full-time hours.

Job Description:

An ideal candidate will be a Dental Assistant who can provide top-notch clinical assistance during endodontic procedures while also being willing to help with minor front-office duties. We strive to have all our team members cross-trained in the clinical and clerical duties as much as possible, but the focus for this job will be on the clinical side. If you thrive in a tight-knit, collaborative environment and have a passion for working hard and helping patients, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Endodontic Assistant Responsibilities (Primary Role):

  • Assist the Endodontist during procedures, including root canals, retreatments, and other endodontic treatments
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for procedures
  • Take digital radiographs and help with patient seating/positioning
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
  • Provide patients with education on treatment procedures and post-care instructions
  • Manage patient records, update treatment notes, and prepare post-op referral letters

Front Office Responsibilities (Secondary Role):

  • Interact with referring offices, schedule patients, answer phones, and confirm appointments (though we will have Front staff to primarily do this)
  • Greet patients and help with check in, check out, and collecting payment as needed
  • Contribute to the marketing plan for the practice

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is ideal; however, we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Strong knowledge of endodontic procedures and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of dental software and tools
  • Spanish-speaking ability would be nice, but not required

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary with opportunities for growth and advancement (based upon dental experience)
  • Paid time off for holidays
  • Ongoing professional development and training
  • Free in-office endodontic care for team member and immediate family
  • Team activities and incentives
