Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve a K-12 student population of approximately 40 children. This in-person role is based at a school located in Nellis Air Force Base, NV, and is structured as a contract position for the current school year (CSY).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist credentials with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong knowledge of school-based speech-language pathology practices
- Ability to engage and support diverse learners across various grade levels
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with educational teams and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services to students with speech and language needs
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals and promote academic success
- Participate in meetings such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) sessions and contribute professional insights
- Manage caseload efficiently within a part-time schedule while ensuring high-quality service delivery
