Our law firm is in search of a Full Time Receptionist/Office Assistant to join our team. The position is responsible for handling the day-to-day functions of the office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manage, coordinate, assist in hiring/oversee runner team.
2. Answering and screen incoming calls.
3. Greets clients and visitors.
4. Deliver incoming mail. Ensure outgoing mail is timely delivered.
5. Ordering office supplies and keeping up with inventory.
6.Close and edit current client matters in Legal Software.
7. Deposits checks electronically and enters payments in Legal software.
8. Manage the office calendar in Outlook.
9. Manage email leads via the company website.
10. Maintain legal library.
11. Plan monthly/seasonal celebrations.
12. Maintain training/certification of staff in CPR and First Aid.
13. Maintain vehicle parking permits and building key codes.
14. Fill in for runner position when necessary.
15. Communicate with landlord/maintenance/cleaning as needed.
16. Other duties as assigned.
