We’re looking for a dependable and customer-focused Utility Clerk to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a team-oriented environment.
As a Utility Clerk, you’ll support multiple customer service areas throughout the bank, helping provide excellent service to our customers while assisting where needed most.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in various Customer Service departments and the Call Center as needed
- Process customer transactions, including deposits, payments, and check cashing
- Open new accounts and assist customers with account questions and services
- Help customers with IRA inquiries, ATM card orders, and check orders
- Cross-sell bank products and services based on customer needs
- Provide backup support for the Switchboard Operator and Call Center
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service and assist with resolving inquiries
- Follow bank policies, procedures, and security guidelines
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tact and public relations expertise
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Vertex, calculator, and PC
- Ability to adapt to flexible work schedule
