Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. This contract position offers the opportunity to support students' munication development and work alongside licensed speech-language pathologists to enhance educational outes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with speech and language therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of K-12 students.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student munication goals.
  • Prepare materials and assist in assessments as directed by the supervising therapist.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
  • Experience working with children in an educational environment preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong organizational skills.
