Product Development Operator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for operating equipment used in the manufacturing of high-conductance flexible circuits and intelligent wiring systems consistent with established production and quality standards. Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, inspect raw materials beforeloading onto machines, carry out basic quality checks such as testing of product or packaging before shipping.

Shift Information:

A Shift: Monday – Thursday & Tuesday – Friday alternating weeks

B Shift: Friday – Sunday & Friday - Monday alternating weeks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

All Operators must be flexible to operate multiple processes/tools as versatility is key to Production.

  • Read and understand work orders, set up, run and reset specified manufacturing equipment consistent with customer requirements, established production and quality standards, notify lead/supervisor of equipment failure or problems; seek to improve efficiency and make process change recommendations to Supervisors.
  • Prepare product throughout the production process using safety knives, scissors, & tweezers.
  • Locate, stock, build, & manage WIP from the production line in terms of storage & inventory control; load and unload material onto or from production fixed equipment to carriers & mobile racks; deliver WIP safely & efficiently throughout the production line & prepare shipments for delivery.
  • Operate safety sensitive and powered industrial equipment such as electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, & fixed equipment. Training for these are provided by CelLink.
  • See Something, Say Something: Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. Report all unsafe conditions and injuries (including near miss incidents) to supervisor or EH&S lead immediately.
  • May perform all system tracking activities in accordance with customer requirements and departmental guidelines; including but not limited to entering accurate data into the company specified systems for job time and inventory tracking.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Supervisor or area lead.
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Previous production operations, material handling, or technician experience within a manufacturing or warehouse comparable environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Eagerness to expand skillset.
  • Command of the English language, both written and verbal, strongly preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must.
  • Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, or hearing.
  • Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts as needed. Ability to change schedule on short notice as required.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

  • May be required to wear PPE, including but not limited to eye protection (safety glasses/goggles), hearing protection, head protection (bump camps and/or hard hats), safety toe shoes, gloves, hair nets, masks, clean-room frocks, or more, while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.

The base pay is just one part of CelLink's total compensation package and is determined within a range. The pay range is designed to support your career progression as you learn, grow, and develop within your role. Your base pay range will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
