HVAC Customer Service Representative

Gore Heating & A/C has proudly served Fayetteville and the surrounding areas since 1978 with professional residential and commercial home services. It was founded by Harvey Gore, who ran the company from his home and grew us to the trusted company they are today.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Team!

Position Summary: This full-time Customer Service Representative will interact with Gore customers by addressing concerns and inquiries, resolving complaints, and scheduling Service and Maintenance requests. This position requires patience and strong attention to detail.

Benefits:

  • 2 weeks vacation
  • 1 hour of sick every 40 hours worked
  • Bonus based on performance

Work Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday

Pay Range: $16.00/hr.- $22.00/hr.- Depending on Experience

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Interact with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Maintain technicians' daily schedules.
  • Maintain customer accounts and record detailed customer interactions.
  • Keep customers apprised of the tech's schedule/lead times.
  • Resolve customers' concerns and answer customers' questions to your best ability.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Attributes:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Great communication skills and ability for active listening.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
  • Strong phone interaction skills and active listening.
  • Computer skills & ability to learn new software.
  • 2+ years of customer service and scheduling experience - preferred not required.
  • Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required.
