Job Description
As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in our production process by handling fiber cables. Your tasks will include measuring, cutting, and placing cables in clips while following blueprints or detailed work instructions. You will meticulously feed color-coded wires through connectors, apply epoxy, and ensure the assembly is ready for curing and polishing. The use of small hand tools, microscopes, or projection scopes will be integral to completing the assemblies accurately.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and place fiber cables in clips according to blueprints or instructions.
- Feed color-coded wires through connectors with precision.
- Apply epoxy to wires and complete the coding process.
- Place assemblies into curing devices and perform final polishing.
- Test completed assemblies to ensure proper connections.
- Utilize small hand tools and microscopes for assembly tasks.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably with small parts or medical device assembly.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and microscopes.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to accurately see and differentiate colors for wire placement.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with guidewire, catheter, or wire assemblies.
- Familiarity with clean room assembly processes.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
