Clinical Pharmacist Highlights

  • The pay for this position is $60.00 per hour.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM CST, with occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.
  • Onsite position.
  • This position is a contract role with potential to convert to FTE.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical pharmacotherapy reviews, patient counseling, drug interaction screenings, and documentation.
  • Educate patients on new therapies and complete REMS training as needed.
  • Coordinate patient care with referring clinicians and act as liaison among patients, caregivers, home health agencies, and prescribing physicians.
  • Support subcutaneous teaching and nursing coordination when necessary.
  • Provide on-call support as needed to ensure continuous patient care.
  • Dispense medications accurately in compliance with federal, state, and board of pharmacy laws.
  • Verify prescription order entries, perform final product quality checks, and oversee pharmacy technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with hazardous waste protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Monitor and manage patient adverse events and product quality complaints.
  • Maintain continuous education and support team professional development.
  • Represent mission to simplify access to medication and deliver personalized patient care.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed and registered Pharmacist in Texas in good standing.
  • Must reside within one hour driving distance of Fort Worth, TX 76177.
  • Must be available to work onsite Monday–Friday 10 AM–7 PM CST, with occasional Saturdays.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • 3–5 years of post-graduate pharmacy operational, clinical oversight, and patient care experience required.
  • BCOP certification preferred or willingness to obtain when eligible.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers and sterile technique.
  • Ability to apply for additional state licensures as needed.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered service and regulatory compliance.
