Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a vibrant educational setting. You’ll provide direct therapy and support to a manageable caseload of approximately 20 elementary students over 2-3 days each week, collaborating closely with teachers and families in a supportive school community. This is a fantastic chance to focus your expertise and build strong relationships within a consistent group of students.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active SLP-CCC and relevant state licensure
- Experience delivering services in K-5 or elementary school settings
- Familiarity with the school-based IEP process and documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Commitment to onsite work; teletherapy not available for this opportunity
- Ability to manage a part-time schedule, 16-24 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and design individualized therapy plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary students
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Engage and inform teachers and caregivers regarding strategies and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight
