Pay: $30-$33/hour
Overview
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for overseeing a team that provides accurate, efficient financial, administrative, and clerical support. This role focuses on controlling costs, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining strong vendor and intercompany relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with terms
- Ensure prompt pay discounts are captured when available
- Resolve GRNI (Goods Receipt Not Invoiced) issues and other out of balance discrepancies
- Process vendor credits
- Reconcile intercompany transactions with partners
- Maintain organized, accurate accounting records
- Identify missing taxes on invoices and upload data into the tax system
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Ensure proper application of supplier payments
- Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues
- Prepare year end 1099 forms and maintain W-9 records
- Initiate ACH and wire payments
- Create and maintain vendor master records
- Prepare AP reconciliations
- Review expenses for capitalization requirements
- Monitor outstanding checks and perform unclaimed property due diligence
- Process employee expense reports and provide GL coding
- Maintain internal controls and standard procedures
- Develop KPIs and monthly reporting
- Improve communication and collaboration with Purchasing
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 7+ years accounts payable experience
- 5 years supervisory experience
- AA degree or Accounting certificate preferred
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word)
- SAP experience strongly preferred
Pay Details: $30.00 to $33.00 per hour
