Avery Partners is looking for a certified Nurse Midwife that has a RN license and a master's degree in Midwifery. They need to have also passed the national certification exam by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). This position would be full time in the office but hours may change as there is an on call schedule. The office hours are Mon-Fri 8-5pm. They do have 2 locations in Marietta and Woodstock and would prefer someone okay to travel between the two offices. They currently have 5 midwives and over 5 Providers. Each midwife sees around 20-25 patients every day and they have their own Medical Assistant.
Some Duties include:
- Prenatal & delivery care
- Birth Planning
- GYN exams
- Prescribe medications
- order Diagnostic tests if needed
- Patient education
The typical schedule for the midwife is around 32-48 hours a week depending on the on call schedule. The Midwife will know their schedule a couple of months prior.
