We are seeking a motivated Fabrication Operator to join our high‑performing fabrication team. In this role, you’ll assist with setup—or learn to independently set up—and operate industry‑leading press brakes, laser equipment, and spot welders. If you enjoy hands‑on work, precision manufacturing, and the opportunity to grow your technical skills in a clean, safe, and modern shop, this is the role for you.
Our fabrication department features top‑tier equipment including Cincinnati and Amada brakes and punches, LVD Strippit turrets, and advanced laser and metal‑forming machinery.
What You’ll Do
- Operate and assist with the setup of press brakes, laser equipment, and spot welders
- Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate quality parts accurately
- Measure and inspect parts using tape measures, calipers, and micrometers
- Ensure machines run safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Perform basic quality inspections and document results
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow and promote strong safety practices throughout the shop
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in fabrication environments
- Experience with press brakes, punch presses, shears, turrets, or similar machinery
- Strong understanding of bends, bend allowances, and forming principles
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with light setup and tool changes
- Comfort working with CNC or manual machine operations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Work Schedule & Environment
- Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Work 36 hours, get paid for 40
- Additional $2/hour shift differential
- Long‑term, stable schedule ideal for skill development and career growth
You’ll work in what’s recognized as one of the safest sheet metal shops in the country, using high‑end equipment in a team‑focused environment that emphasizes safety, training, and advancement.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
