Position Summary:

The Construction Bid Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Estimating/Project Management Department.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrate great leadership skills, great communication skills, excellent organization, to manage multiple bids while meeting deadlines. Be willing to take initiative, demonstrate positivity, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

Assist the Estimating/Project Management Team with the following.

• Research bid opportunities and ensure all bids are entered accurately, including updating bids of any new changes

• Prepare bid packet for both Prime and Sub bids, including scanning and data entry

• Gather bonding information and Insurance documents for bid packages as needed.

• Track bid activity and maintain a bid log for both Prime and Sub bids including current and future construction bid dates

• Contact General Contractors and Subcontractors for bid information for pre-bid and post-bid results.

• Develop and maintain relationships with General Contractors and Subcontractors

• Create and maintain a bid analysis report to maintain the status of bids.

• Review notices to bidders in project specifications to ensure all requirements are met for the job looking to bid.

• Identify improvement opportunities for quality of work and cost efficiencies

• Other duties as assigned.
